We invite you to join us for the Global acknowledgment of World Sleep Day | “It’s time to wake up to the Importance of Sleep”.
World Sleep Society founded in 2008 with more than 88+ participating countries to date in a call to action to bring more awareness to the importance of sleep related issues as it relates to Covid 19 infection risk, chronic illness and premature death.
iSDHS's 2021 Webinar will feature Caribbean and Internationally born, US Board Certified Sleep Specialists accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) and American Academy of Cardiovascular Sleep Medicine (AACSM).
This years’ world recognised annual event will include education and training for medical professionals in the Caribbean to help bridge the gap in the understanding and relationship between Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes, Obesity, Erectile Dysfunction and other serious health concerns related to Sleep Deprivation.
Also, iSDHS in partnership with the Diabetes Association of Trinidad and Tobago will be conducting a research study to better understand the relationship between Sleep Apnea and Diabetes through Home Sleep Apnea Testing.
ISD Health Solutions along with the World Sleep Society is excited to now include Jamaica, Barbados, St. Lucia, Bermuda, Bahamas to name a few in this Global sleep health initiative in aim to bring more awareness to the general public at large.
